A Chinese documentary series - College Entrance Examination (High School Test)

Recently, I have watched a documentary series which is called High School Test. It is a Chinese documentary which is published in 2015 but the documentary is about the high school test in China in 2014. It has six episodes but just talking about 5 storys (since the first two episodes are talking about the same story). Each story using different people's point of view to show different angles of the high school test in 2014.

The reason that why I watched it is because it is about education which is the topic that I am interested in, also, it has a story which is about study abroad which could link to my documentary as well. But at the first time that I saw it on YouTube, I was quite surprised. Since in China, the government would have power to control the media, and usually this kind of topic they do not really want people to see it (since it might show something that the government do not want to show to the public) and therefore they will cover it. But this documentary has been shown on the TV programme (CCTV 9) which is particularly showing documentaries. So I was really interested and then watched some of the episodes.

I have create a voicethread for it to analyse and what I think that I could use those elements to my documentary.

I have researched some information of this documentary, and I have found that in this documentary, almost all of the scene is filmmed in reality and the director and editor have done so much work to persuade students and teachers to film in the documentary. That's why I think it is so realistic that it really shows a real image of what high school test looks like in China. (And I think it is quite amazing because you know, Chinese media actually has been controlled, even though it is not always, it is less democracy)
